After a long and difficult process of choosing just 3 charities from the 17 that applied, we are very happy and very excited to announce to you the benefiting charities for the 2015 event:
A Rotta Love Plus
A Rotta Love Plus (ARLP) is a comprehensive and proactive all-volunteer advocacy organization that uses a “nose-to-tail” approach to address the issues faced by Rottweilers and pit bulls. ARLP's strategies include public outreach and awareness to repair the reputation of its breeds, community enrichment and education via its therapy dog program, spay/neuter initiatives, owner education and training, and foster-based dog rescue and rehoming.
The Pet Project
The Pet Project helps to keep pets and their caregivers together by providing pet food and pet supplies to food shelves. We offer quarterly low-cost vaccination clinics and provide information about other programs that provide reduced-cost veterinary care.
Twin Cities Pet Rescue
Twin Cities Pet Rescue is a small, foster home based organization; rescuing dogs, cats, and small animals of all breeds that were once homeless, unwanted, forgotten, neglected or abused. We give them the love and care they need and help them find a home.
